Synopsis

Construction, as an industry, process and product, is an activity in constant change, so it is credible that the road infrastructures that later generations create will show a greater complexity than the current one and, at the same time, exhibit roads with greater capacity and resistance, such as highways and dual carriageways, modern roads that allow the active circulation of means of transport and the interrelation between societies of different geographic spaces.
For the advances in road construction to be continuous and effective, man must carry out a management process that directs, in a timely manner, the planning of road construction projects, the construction process, the work and health of employees, and the maintenance of roads. This proves that management is a necessary event in any plan that seeks the creation of new roads or the redesign of roads that surround and organize streets, so managers and engineers should not do without it during the process of building a road in urban and rural spaces.
